Nottingham Forest academy’s Talent Identification Programme is continuing after a successful first season.Based at the Nottingham Football Centre at Rushcliffe Academy, the open invitation sessions are delivered by Forest coaches who provide fun development programmes for all ability levels.
Last year 27 youngsters moved to the Football Development Club on Wednesday evenings, following in the footsteps of first-team squad regulars Tyler Walker and Oliver Burke, and this progression opportunity will be open once again.
The Talent Identification Programme is designed with one key focus point: to encourage every player to be the best they can be, whether at grassroots or professional level.
Monday night programmes occur in six-week cycles during school term times. Sessions operate between 6-7pm and 7-8pm, with outfield players aged between 5-13 and goalkeepers aged between 5-16 welcome.
To register, please email your child’s name, date of birth, the name of a parent/guardian and a contact telephone number to firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, call 0800 228 9642.
Places are limited so early booking is advised, although mid-cycle registration is possible subject to availability.
The first session will take place on Monday 7 September.
