Nottingham Forest forward Jamie Ward says the team’s win at QPR was reward for the ‘quality additions’ made by the club in the summer transfer window.
Debutants Chris O'Grady, Ryan Mendes and Nelson Oliveira combined to score a dramatic winner at Loftus Road
And Ward, who came on at half-time, says their arrival will make a difference in the short and long term.
Speaking after the match, he said: “We’ve been good going forward all season but we’ve probably just not had the end product at the end of it.
“We’ve added some quality players to the team and hopefully that will help us score more goals.
“We didn’t deserve to be behind but that’s football for you. We had a little setback but the lads reacted well to it, which was important, and in the end we came out with the win.”

Ward had been struggling with injury recently but made his return to action at Loftus Road.
And he had no problems to report after his run out.
Ward said: “I felt alright out there.
“Hopefully I can take that into the Birmingham game on Tuesday.”
