Nottingham Forest supporters have voted striker Chris O'Grady as the Man of the Match from Saturday’s 2-1 win at Queens Park Rangers.
O'Grady, making his Forest debut at Loftus Road, produced an excellent example of centre-forward play as his held up the ball superbly and created a number of chances for his team-mates in yesterday's victory.
His showing was typified by his winning of the penalty which Henri Lansbury converted to bring The Reds level and his header to Ryan Mendes which helped to set up Nelson Oliveira for the winning goal.
The striker's fellow debutants, Mendes and Oliveira, finished second and third in the voting respectively but it was to be O'Grady's day at Loftus Road as Forest returned after the international break with a well-earned three points.
