Nottingham Forest’s Ryan Mendes says he hopes to bring goals and assists to his new team.
The winger will spend the rest of the 2015-16 season at The City Ground on loan from French side Lille
And, fresh from scoring for Cape Verde during the international break, Mendes is determined to excite the Forest faithful with his attacking prowess.
The 25-year-old told Forest Player HD: “I want the fans to enjoy watching me. I’m a player that likes to run at the opposition, go forward, give the ball to strikers for them to score, and to score myself.
“What the fans can expect is that I’ll always give my best, never give up and score and create goals.”
This is Mendes’ first taste of English football and he can’t wait to get started.
He said: “I really look forward to it. Ever since I was a kid I heard about England.
“It’s the home of football so I really want to start my adventure here and I hope it will go well.”
