Match pack: Burnley (H)

19 October 2015

Get all the news ahead of Nottingham Forest's Sky Bet Championship match against Burnley at The City Ground on Tuesday night (kick-off 7.45pm).

Pre-match brief

Three defeats in their last four matches have increased the pressure on Nottingham Forest to pick up results at The City Ground and they will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they entertain Burnley tomorrow night.

The Reds' 2-0 defeat at Bristol City on Friday night has left them 14th in the Sky Bet Championship table and they face a tough assignment against Sean Dyche's side who currently occupy a place in the top six.

Dougie Freedman's men have turned in some positive performances against the top teams in the division this season and three points against the Clarets would provide a real shot in the arm to their stuttering campaign.

Last time out

Nottingham Forest suffered a 2-0 loss at Bristol City on Friday night as an early double from Aaron Wilbraham consigned Dougie Freedman's men to defeat at Ashton Gate.

Forest: De Vries, Fox, Hobbs (Blackstock 81'), Wilson, Pinillos, Burke (Williams 60'), Lansbury, Vaughan, Mendes, O'Grady, Oliveira (Ward 65')

Andre Gray’s brace helped Burnley record their sixth win in eight games as they beat Bolton Wanderers 2-0 at Turf Moor on Saturday to move fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table.

Burnley: Heaton, Darikwa, Duff, Keane, Mee, Boyd (Taylor 63’), Barton, Jones, Arfield, Vokes, Gray (Long 87')

Previous encounter

Forest and Burnley's last meeting at The City Ground ended in a 1-1 draw in November 2013 as Simon Cox cancelled out Sam Vokes' earlier penalty as the spoils were shared on Trentside.
