Nottingham Forest supporters have until 5pm this afternoon (Monday) to vote for their Bed Chambers Player of the Month for February.
The Reds enjoyed a fantastic run of results under new manager Dougie Freedman with five wins and a draw from six matches and fans can now vote for their most impressive performer.
On his first appearance of the season in the 3-2 win at Brighton at the start of the month, Collins netted Forest’s opening goal and marshalled the back four to an excellent victory at the Amex Stadium. A rock at the heart of The Reds’ defence, he helped keep clean sheets against Wigan and Reading during the month.
With five goals in six matches including the stunning free-kick in the 2-1 victory over Bournemouth at The City Ground, Lansbury enjoyed a superb month. The midfielder was also handed the captain’s armband by manager Dougie Freedman and responded in the best possible fashion by leading The Reds to wins over Bolton, Bournemouth and Reading.
January's Player of the Month winner continues to impress in the Forest engine room with his excellent blend of tenaciousness and creativity. After finishing off a flowing move in the 3-2 win at Brighton, Osborn followed that up at the end of the month by crashing home a spectacular 25-yard effort in the 3-0 victory at Reading.
Now an integral part of Dougie Freedman’s midfield three, Gardner turned in a number of excellent displays in February and also managed to get himself into the goals. After drawing The Reds level at Blackpool with his first goal in Forest colours, the Aston Villa loanee then scored one of the strikes of the season with a 30-yard finish in the win at Reading.
Always a threat to opposition defences, Antonio played an important role in Forest’s good form during February as he drove The Reds’ attacking moves forward. The winger also scored a memorable goal in the 4-1 win over Bolton at The City Ground by gliding past three defenders before firing home.
Having scored four goals in three matches during February including a brace in the 4-1 victory over Bolton, Burke arguably enjoyed his best month in a Forest shirt. A real menace on the right-hand side of The Reds’ midfield, the Scot played a vital part as Dougie Freedman’s men earned five wins in six games.
