Nottingham Forest are recruiting part-time retail assistants and customer service operators to work in the City Ground megastore and ticket office.

Retail Assistant   

The successful candidate will be responsible for:   

-          Serving and advising customers 
-          Handling payments by cash or card 
-          Helping customers find the goods they want 
-          Advising on the availability of stock and any special promotions 
-          Giving information on products and prices 
-          Replenishing stock and making sure goods are attractively displayed 
-          Arranging customer orders and deliveries   

They must also:   

-          Be comfortable working as part of a team 
-          Enjoy working with the public 
-          Have a polite, helpful manner 
-          Be confident dealing with difficult situations 
-          Have basic mathematical skills for dealing with payments and stock checks 
-          Be comfortable using computerised equipment, such as tills 
-          Have plenty of stamina 
-          Be flexible and adaptable 
-          Be reliable and trustworthy   

Some telesales and warehousing duties may also be required.   

Working hours will be flexible and candidates may be required to work early mornings and evenings.   

Salary: National minimum wage 
Contract: Variable hours contract

Retail and Customer Service Operator   

The successful candidate will:   

-          Become an active member of the club’s retail department and be proactive in aiding the smooth running of Nottingham Forest’s ticket office and megastore 
-          Sell tickets and merchandise using the highest levels of customer service via telephone and across the counter 
-          Be an effective, energetic and flexible member of the club’s retail team who is available to work all first-team matchdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays   

They will be responsible for:   

-          Maximising sales by telephone, across the counter or via postal bookings for first-team home and away fixtures 
-          Processing cash and cad payments daily and accounting for personal takings by producing computerised reports at the end of each shift 
-          Being the first point of contact for Forest supporters, providing exceptional levels of customer care at all times, handling a varying range of customer enquiries and being proactive in resolving issues 
-          Keeping fully informed of all events taking place at The City Ground, including pricing details, in order to offer accurate information to supporters 
-          Undertaking any training or development work deemed necessary 
-          Dealing with customer returns and processing them in line with company policy 
-          Undertaking other tasks or duties in keeping with the responsibility of the post when required   

Working hours will be flexible and candidates may be required to work early mornings and evenings.
