Seasonal charity partner

Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire has been selected as Nottingham Forest’s official 2015-16 charity partner.

Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire is the county's largest charity dedicated to helping everyone make the most of later life. It provides services and support at a local level to inspire, enable and support older people.

And the other sentence on donation to read as follows:

Donations can be made via texting, text ‘AGED05’ followed by your donation amount to ‘70070’ (for example: AGED05 £10). Please note that amounts accepted via text are £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 and £10.

Fawaz Al Hasawi, Nottingham Forest’s chairman and owner, is pleased the club have been presented with the opportunity to work with the charity.

He said: “We believe that the partnership will be a great opportunity to showcase the superb services Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire run in the local area.

“We hope to host unique Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire events at The City Ground across the season and we are optimistic about helping raise vital funds throughout the season.”

Maggie Ross MBE, Fundraising Director for Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire, said: “We’re delighted that we have been chosen as the Nottingham Forest’s official 2015-16 charity partner especially during the 150th year of the club. We look forward to working closely with Nottingham Forest to raise awareness on the issues around older people and to fundraise to help us continue to support more vulnerable older people in our city and county.”
