Radi Majewski and Djamal Abdoun have agreed to terminate their Nottingham Forest contracts.
Majewski endeared himself to supporters immediately after arriving on loan from Polonia Warsaw in 2009.
He went on to provide a number of special moments in the garibaldi, including sensational strikes against Derby and West Brom and a first-half hat-trick against Huddersfield Town.
Majewski leaves the club with a heavy heart and has extended the following message to supporters: ‘I wanted to thank the fans for the amazing support they showed me during my time at Forest.
‘It wasn’t easy for me to move to Nottingham from Poland, my first experience of playing football in a new country, but the fans made me feel welcome from the start. This was a huge help to me.
‘I leave the club with many happy memories which I will treasure long after my career is over. I am now looking forward to finding a new club and, hopefully, watching Forest succeed from afar.
‘Thank you to everyone who made my time at The City Ground special.’
Abdoun arrived from Olympiacos in 2013 and made 27 appearances for the club, all during the 2013-14 season. He now joins Majewski in embarking on a new chapter in his career.
