Forest Lotto gives academy a boost

16 July 2015

At the launch of Forest Lotto in October 2014, Nottingham Forest made the decision to donate all the funds raised by the scheme to the club’s academy.

Nine months on and the academy have benefitted in a number of ways from the money received from Forest Lotto and have strengthened in many areas.

Both of the senior academy teams, the Under 21s and Under 18s, reached the play-offs in their respective divisions while the latter also got to the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup.

With the help of Forest Lotto, the academy have been able to take both teams away together on a pre-season tour of Portugal, the first time this has been done in the club’s history.

The continued support of Forest Lotto will help the Nottingham Forest academy to enjoy an even stronger 2015-16 season.

As all cash prizes are paid out in full by Lotto Network, Forest Lotto gives Reds supporters the chance to win millions of pounds every time they play, whilst helping to nurture the next generation of first-team talent.
