Evtimov extends contract

29 July 2015

Goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov has agreed a new contract with Nottingham Forest.

The Bulgarian Under 21 international, who made his professional debut in April 2014, has agreed a new four-year deal.

Evtimov joined The Reds’ academy in 2011 aged 16 after starting his career at Bulgarian side Chavdar Etropole.

The 21-year-old has been on loan at a number of clubs, including Mansfield Town where he appeared regularly last season.

Evtimov was part of Dougie Freedman’s squad for the pre-season trip to Sweden and will now continue his development alongside fellow keepers Dorus de Vries and Ben Hamer.
