Gardner boosted to get off to a flyer

10 January 2015

Sky Bet have released a number of Gary Gardner specials after the Aston Villa midfielder joined Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season thanks to the online firm’s Transfer Fund.

The news comes just two days after Todd Kane’s loan move to the City Ground from Chelsea was also secured by the £250,000 Transfer Fund, which Forest won when fan Shaun Lander was selected in a random draw at Wembley in December.

Both players could make their debut for Forest in their home clash against Sheffield Wednesday at the City Ground.

Gardner has been boosted to a massive 50/1 from 14/1 to score the first goal of the match while right-back Kane is on offer at a huge 100/1 from 33/1. Sky Bet have also pledged to keep these prices for future games until the players score their first goals for Forest.

Kane is 16/1 to score anytime on his debut and a 3/1 shot to net two or more Sky Bet Championship goals this season.

Sky Bet have Forest, who currently sit 11th in the table, at 20/1 for promotion and 25/1 is the price on offer for Kane to play in this season’s Sky Bet Championship play-off final.

Forest have a big East Midlands derby coming up on Saturday January 17 against Derby and Sky Bet make Stuart Pearce’s men 7/2 to keep a clean sheet in that clash.

Forest are also 18/1 with Sky Bet to win their next three games against Sheffield Wednesday, Derby and Cardiff.

The Sky Bet Transfer Fund is now open again, so fans have another chance to win £5,000 for themselves and £250,000 for their club to spend on transfers in the summer.
