1-0 win v Chesterfield
1-0 defeat v Leicester
0-0 (5-4 win on penalties) v Leicester
Academy operations manager Tony Cook said: “It was a good experience for five of our Under 15s players, while it also gave us a chance to look at several Under 16 trialists.
“It was great to see how the younger boys coped with playing in a higher age group, and to see how our Under 17s coped against players of the same age.
“Gary Brazil and Tom Mallinson took the team and demanded a high-tempo, quality of level of performance – which they got.
“The tournament was brilliantly hosted by Sheffield United’s lead Under 18s coach Travis Binnion and we thank everyone who helped organise the day.”
