Contract length confirmed

3 February 2015

Nottingham Forest have confirmed the length of new manager Dougie Freedman’s contract.

Freedman accepted the role of manager on Sunday, signing an 18-month deal.

The Scotsman oversaw his first training session this morning after taking the managerial reins from Stuart Pearce, who parted company with the club at the weekend.

Steve Wigley, Brian Eastick, Tim Flowers, Dave Galley and John Marshall, who were brought to the club by Pearce, are no longer employed by the club, while chief executive Paul Faulkner has been placed on gardening leave following his resignation prior to Freedman’s appointment.
