Nottingham Forest would like to issue the following statement ahead of Sunday’s televised game against Leeds United.
Supporters are reminded that unauthorised entry onto the playing area is a criminal offence and the club will seek to prosecute anyone responsible for such encroachment.
A number of supporters came onto the pitch after the recent victory over Derby County and, as a result, the club are still awaiting the outcome of a subsequent FA investigation.
So far seven supporters involved in this incident have either gone through the legal system, or are summonsed to court. The police and club continue their investigations and further offenders are likely to be identified.
