Nottingham Forest defender Matt Mills says ‘resilience’ will be key as The Reds hit the road for away matches at Wolves and Blackburn.
It’s first stop Molineux on Friday night as Forest go on the hunt for their third consecutive win.
And Mills knows what he and his team-mates need to show if they are to continue their impressive run.
He told Forest Player HD: “I think resilience – sometimes when you play at home teams set up to nullify you, whereas when they’re at home they’ll be looking to take the game to us.
“I think if we’re very resilient and can stay in the game we’ll always have chances with the players we’ve got.
“Whenever you win games it breeds confidence, but I don’t think we’ve been far away this season.
“We’ve been quietly confident that what we’ve been doing will get us results and now we’re seeing the fruits of our labour.”
A win at Wolves would propel Forest above their hosts in the Sky Bet Championship table.
And Mills believes that can be an incentive, even with the majority of the season left to play.
He said: “I think you’ve always got an eye on the table. For sure, we knew beating Fulham would take us above them. I’m sure everyone is aware of what’s at stake.
“It’ll be a difficult game. Wolves have a good manager and a lot of experienced players.”
