Memorable night for Oliver

30 December 2015

A first senior goal for Oliver Burke was enough to help him win the Man of the Match award from Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Cardiff City.

The 18-year-old made only his second start of the season at the Cardiff City Stadium and made quite an impact as he fired Forest into a ninth-minute lead with a shot from the outside of his right foot.

Aron Gunnarsson quickly hit back to earn the home side a point but the night belonged to Burke who troubled the Cardiff defence all evening with direct running and dangerous crosses into the penalty area.

Below are the results of the voting:

Oliver Burke 79%
Dorus de Vries 8%
Matt Mills 4%

Nottinghamforest.co.uk will be running a Man of the Match vote after every away game this season. To cast a vote simply visit the Forest Wall after the full-time whistle.
