Matt Mills believes supporters are seeing a ‘different type’ of Nottingham Forest after they secured their fourth home win on the bounce this afternoon.
The Reds battled to a hard-fought 2-1 win over MK Dons and Mills praised the resilience of his team-mates.
He said: “We made it harder for ourselves than we needed to. I thought we started the second half fantastically – we were looking for that third goal to kill the game off.
“Credit to them though, they played some nice stuff in the last ten minutes and opened us up for the goal, but the resilience of the lads was different class.
“We’re really seeing a different type of Nottingham Forest team.”
Mills added that the players are enjoying playing their football at The City Ground at the moment.
He said: “We feel very confident at home right now after the recent results and with the support we’ve got it can be an intimidating place.
“We’re all fed up of playing really well and losing. I’d rather play terribly every week and win – it’s as simple as that. We’re here to get three points, send the fans home happy, and climb the table.”
