Match pack: Charlton (H)

18 August 2015

Get all the news ahead of Nottingham Forest's Sky Bet Championship match against Charlton Athletic at The City Ground on Tuesday night (kick-off 7.45pm).

Pre-match brief

Nottingham Forest have suffered mixed fortunes when facing Charlton Athletic at The City Ground over recent years and face another difficult task against Guy Luzon's Addicks side who are currently unbeaten so far this season.

The Reds registered their first win of the new campaign at the weekend as they overcame Steve Evans’ Rotherham United and will be looking to earn back-to-back wins for first time since February when they take to The City Ground this evening.

Despite the league being in its infancy, Charlton striker Tony Watt is already the joint top-scorer having netted against QPR on the opening day and Derby last time out. The Scottish international followed manager Luzon from Standard Liege in January and will pose a stern test for the Forest back line this evening.

Last time out

Nottingham Forest earned their first three points of the season with a win at home to Rotherham United on Saturday. Defender Matt Mills grabbed his first goal in the Garibaldi to cancel out Danny Collins’ opener before Michail Antonio popped up to net the winner midway through the second half.

Forest: De Vries, Mancienne, Mills, Wilson, Lichaj, Antonio, Lansbury, Vaughan, Burke, Ward (Blackstock 63), Walker (Burke 85)

Charlton travelled to promotion favourites Derby at the weekend and earned a point in dogged display at the iPro Stadium. Watt netted the opener for the South London outfit at the start of the second half before striker Chris Martin earned new manager Paul Clement his second point as Rams boss.

Charlton: Pope, Solly, Diarra, Bauer, Fox, Gudmundsson (Ba 90'), Kashi, Cousins, Ceballos (Bergdich 61'), Watt, Makienok (Jackson 88')
