Nottingham Forest defender Michael Mancienne believes yesterday’s scoreline could have been 7-3 in The Reds’ favour.Dougie Freedman’s men battled brilliantly to equalise three times at Blackburn to seal a 3-3 draw at Ewood Park.
But it could have been so much more for Forest, who Freedman believes had five clear-cut chances to add to their tally.
Michail Antonio (2) and Henri Lansbury were on the scoresheet, but Forest found Rovers keeper Simon Eastwood a tough nut to crack in an open affair.
Mancienne, who came off the bench in the second half, said after the match: “The scoreline could have ended up 7-3.
“We had some good chances, we played well and our build up play was good in the final third. Maybe we just had to be a little bit more ruthless.
“We need to put teams away early doors and not invite as much pressure on to ourselves.”
