Ben romps to victory

Nottingham Forest supporters have voted Ben Osborn as their man of the match from last night's Capital One Cup defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.

Osborn was part of a young Reds side at White Hart Lane and he impressed the Forest faithful enough to scoop a massive 76% of the vote ahead of fellow youngster Jorge Grant and the more experienced Kelvin Wilson.

A young Forest team which included Osborn, Grant, Stephen McLaughlin and Jamaal Lascelles turned in a creditable and encouraging performance in North London with academy players Oliver Burke and Tyler Walker also travelling as part of the matchday squad.

Reds fans have another chance to see the club's talented youngsters in action in the second qualifying round of the Under 21 Premier League Cup when they take on Wigan Athletic at The City Ground on Wednesday 8 October. For more information, please click here.
