Time is running out for fans to cast their vote for their The Bed Chambers Nottingham Forest September Player of the Month.
September came to an end with The Reds still unbeaten in the Sky Bet Championship and sitting joint-top of the table following another excellent month and Forest supporters now have the chance to vote for their The Bed Chambers Player of The Month.
A 1-1 derby day draw against our local East Midlands rivals to open the month was quickly followed by a 5-3 win at The City Ground over struggling Fulham, with Britt Assombalonga scoring four goals over the two games. August’s player of the month Michail Antonio also got in on the goalscoring act with Forest’s all-important equaliser against The Cottagers.
The following three games all ended in goalless draws, with much credit going to Karl Darlow for keeping three consecutive clean sheets with the goalkeeper being ably supported by Michael Mancienne and Kelvin Wilson who looked impenetrable at the heart of Forest’s defence.
Voting closes at midday tomorrow.
