Laing staying at the Lane

13 October 2014

Nottingham Forest defender Louis Laing has extended his stay with Notts County.

The 21-year-old, who joined Shaun Derry’s side on an initial month’s loan in September, has enjoyed a successful start to his career north of the Trent.

Notts have conceded only three times in the seven matches the former Sunderland man has been involved in.

Laing will stay with Notts until December 13, during which time he will be hoping to continue his fine form alongside fellow Red Stephen McLaughlin, who has also made an excellent start to his loan spell at Meadow Lane.
