Dan Harding has told Nottingham Forest’s matchday programme that Stuart Pearce is helping him develop on and off the pitch.Harding is interviewed in tonight’s edition for the visit of Brentford, and the left back says he is enjoying the advice of a man who earned legendary status playing in the same position at The City Ground.
“I have had conversations with the gaffer that have helped me not just on the pitch but off it too,” says Harding.
“He’s definitely an approachable manager and when he speaks he’s certainly worth listening to.”
Guardian journalist Danny Taylor continues his column tonight, in which he focuses on former Red Roy Keane.
“What has largely gone unreported is that there are other layers to Keane,” writes Taylor. “He is not always “slamming” or “blasting” and the one thing that has certainly been clear to me is that he still holds a lot of affection for Forest.”
Supporters can read both articles and much more by purchasing a copy at tonight’s match, with a signed Thomas Ince shirt up for grabs for one lucky buyer.
