Nigel Jemson believes Nottingham Forest can look forward to a bright future with Stuart Pearce at the helm.Jemson, a former team mate of Pearce and the scorer of Forest’s 1990 League Cup winning goal, is confident the managerial experience Pearce gained with Manchester City and England’s Under 21s will stand The Reds in good stead.
He told Forest Player: “This is a club close to Stuart’s heart. He’s a fans’ favourite and rightly so. I learned a lot from him both on and off the pitch and it was a pleasure to play with him. He’s a good appointment and I’m sure he’s going to do really well for us.
“The summer’s going to be interesting and I for one am looking forward to seeing Stuart working here again. I wish him all the very best.”
