Nottingham Forest will face SC Braga during a training camp in Portugal this summer.
The match, scheduled for Saturday 19 July, will take place close to The Reds’ training base in the city, although it won't be played at Braga's Estadio Municipal.
There are also plans to play an additional match against a second division Portuguese side during the trip.
Brian Eastick, who has agreed in principle to become Forest’s new first-team coach, said: “Stuart, Steve Wigley and I know that area very well.
“We stayed in the same hotel when England Under 21s played Portugal and there are very good facilities there.”
Braga is situated in north-west Portugal and is best accessed via Porto airport.
Further details will be announced in due course.
