NTU/NFFC Management Apprenticeship

25 March 2014

The NTU/NFFC Management Apprenticeship recently saw its first competitor eliminated from the competition.

The scheme involves six students from Nottingham Trent University competing against each other in an ‘Apprentice-like’ competition, with the winner earning themselves a year’s fully-paid internship in the Forest Commercial department.
For the first task the students were split into two teams and had to create a fictional sponsorship package for Greene King before presenting it to Martin Raynor (Greene King Sales Development Manager).
The winning team consisted of Joe Trotman, Tom Foreman and James Powley, who progressed to the second round whilst the losing team were put through a gruelling interview with Nottingham Forest operations manager Joe Sharphouse.
In the end it was Andrew Norton who left the competition and all at Nottingham Forest Football Club would like to wish him well for the future.
