A number of family-friendly activities are in store for supporters attending Saturday’s Kids for a Quid fixture against Doncaster Rovers at The City Ground.Under 16s tickets are priced just £1 for the visit of Paul Dickov’s side and an exciting match is in store between two teams looking to strengthen their positions at opposite ends of the Sky Bet Championship table.
On their approach to the ground supporters will be greeted by the sound of the Nottingham School of Samba, who will be drumming up a lively matchday atmosphere outside the Brian Clough Stand in the run up to kick-off.
Fans are also likely to bump into Robin Hood and Maid Marian, who are taking an afternoon off from their duties at Sherwood Forest to greet everyone outside the ground.
Before making their way through the turnstiles supporters can make a donation to Playworks, a Nottingham-based creative charity for children, who will have face-painters dotted around the stadium.
A thousand free clap-banners will also be handed out, ramping up what is sure to be a vibrant atmosphere for when the players are given a guard of honour on their way onto the pitch by ten randomly selected Robin’s Reds members. The lucky ten will also participate in an exciting relay race at half-time, the winners of which will be invited to The Nigel Doughty Academy to meet the players.
All at Forest hope supporters and their families have a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon at Saturday’s match.
