Chosen Charity For Millwall

31 March 2014

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club’s charitable arm, The Trent Bridge Community Trust, aims to make a meaningful impact on local communities across the county.

Positive Futures, their flagship programme, has grown hugely. Initially working in Cotgrave, they expanded into Hawtonville, Newark and continue to engage young people at risk of social exclusion across the county.
The statistical impact and the human stories that have emerged from the programme are incredible and they are delighted to have been able to pledge funding to ensure that the scheme continues to deliver beyond the original three-year commitment.
Anti-social behavior continues to decrease at an astonishing rate with 28% fewer incidents reported in the past six months.
They are proud to be members of the Ashes Legacy Partnership. Under this banner, they will be working to unite international cricket venues for the first time with a mission to provide community benefits and lasting legacy during and after their time in the spotlight.
Since the launch of their Trust, countless personal stories have emerged of young people who have prospered having been given the one thing they needed – a sporting chance.
Their mission, quite simply, is to provide that chance to more young people by ensuring that their schemes continue to prosper.
