Guy Moussi has told Nottingham Forest’s matchday magazine that he believes The Reds’ style of play could be a recipe for success this season. The Frenchman, who is the featured player in this weekend’s edition (£3), is one of Forest’s longest-serving players and believes the dynamics of the league have changed since his arrival in 2008.
“In my early Forest days the teams winning promotion were the physical, direct sides,” he says. “That has started to change.
“We are a good football team with players who can create chances. It’s getting more difficult every season but I think we have a good chance of winning promotion. I really want to help make it happen.”
Supporters can read the full interview, in which Moussi also discusses his eye-opening loan spell at Millwall, in Saturday’s magazine, which also features Greg Halford.
The 29 year old has adapted well to life up front in recent weeks and is keen to keep up the momentum.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing as a striker,” he says. “It has been difficult to adapt but I feel like I’ve done a fairly good job.
“Hopefully now I can get my shots-to-goal ratio up and get myself on the score sheet more often.”
The magazine will be available from all the usual outlets around The City Ground. It can also be downloaded via this app from 2pm onwards.
