Tweet All About It: Yeovil

2 February 2014

The City Ground crowd were in celebratory mood this afternoon following the 3-1 victory over Yeovil Town and the positive reaction continued on social media after the game.

Forest had taken a deserved lead through Byron Webster’s own goal and despite Kieffer Moore’s equaliser for The Glovers, Simon Cox restored The Reds’ lead before half-time to the delight of the supporters on Twitter.

“Great start and finish to the half by #NFFC. The game needs killing off to break their resolve.” - @L4SCO1NEY

“Not a bad half, should be further ahead, look shaky at the back but overall we look comfortable and we’re in the lead. #NFFC” - @joeh2346

“Good from #NFFC in the first half, but as ever against lesser teams we are being complacent and inviting pressure.” - @Paddy Reston

Despite some nervy moments in the second half, a last-minute goal from debutant Rafik Djebbour put the seal on an excellent win and the result, as well as the Algerian’s strike, thrilled Reds fans on social media.

“Another exciting game! Second place is up for grabs, Premier League get ready for us. #NFFC @Official_NFFC” - @FreyaEve6

“Yes game over 3-1 Forest! @OfficialNFFC. Great to see Rafik Djebbour get a goal on his debut! #NFFC #13Unbeaten.” - @NickGuise1

“It’s a good time to be a @OfficialNFFC fan at the moment. Youuuuu Reds! #NFFC.” - @pollyfildes

Forest now turn their attentions to the FA Cup with Budweiser fourth-round replay at Preston North End on Wednesday night (kick-off 7.45pm).
