Social media was alive and kicking tonight as fans from all over the world followed the pulsating 2-2 draw between Nottingham Forest and Leicester City at The City Ground.Forest had taken a 2-1 lead through goals from Jamie Paterson and Andy Reid but Riyad Mahrez stabbed home a late equaliser to leave the spoils shared.
Paterson’s superb header to level the scores at 1-1, his ninth goal in 11 matches, certainly had Reds fans purring on social media.

Reid then converted a penalty just before half-time to give The Reds a 2-1 advantage which sent Forest-related social media into raptures.

Despite Mahrez’s equaliser leaving Reds fans slightly deflated, they rallied round on social media to take the positives after Forest stretched their unbeaten league run to 14 matches.

Forest now turn their attentions to Saturday’s crunch clash at Burnley where they could close the gap on Sean Dyche’s side to just two points (kick-off 3pm).
