Danny Fox says Leicester City’s visit on Wednesday night presents Nottingham Forest with an opportunity to put their FA Cup with Budweiser disappointment behind them. The Reds suffered their first defeat in 16 matches, losing 3-1 at Sheffield United, but must now focus on an important Sky Bet Championship clash with their East Midlands neighbours.
Speaking after the match at Bramall Lane, Fox said: “We’re bitterly disappointed, especially after seeing the draw at full-time.
“But I think we would prefer our unbeaten run to end in the cup rather than the league. We’ve got to look forward to Wednesday night now. We have to move on, as the gaffer said after the game.
“We have a massive match against Leicester and potentially an even bigger one away at Burnley next Saturday. There’s no better way to put things right than with a good game under the City Ground lights.
“If we can beat Leicester then we can go all the way and, looking around the dressing room, I don’t see any reason why we can’t.”
