Nottingham Forest will travel to Aldershot Town or Rochdale in the third round of the FA Cup.
Aldershot and Rochdale face a replay at the latter's Spotland home following a goalless draw at the ESS Stadium on Sunday.
The third round will take place on the weekend of the 3/4 January and ticket details for the tie will be announced once the opponents have been confirmed.
