Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio says he and his team-mates are concentrating on themselves, rather than the table.
Antonio played the full 90 minutes in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United at The City Ground and believes there were positives to take into the Boxing Day match at Middlesbrough.
Speaking after the match, Antonio said: “It was a good overall performance and hopefully we can take that into Middlesbrough away.
“The Championship is unpredictable. Everything always chops and changes. We could win four games in a row and get straight back in there.
“We can’t really look at the points right now – not even half season’s gone yet. We’ve just got to concentrate on ourselves.”
Matty Fryatt was Forest’s goal scorer yesterday and Antonio says the forward, who also had two goals disallowed, is only just getting started.
He said: “Matty is a quality player. He’s got good feet and he will get goals when he gets more consistent games.
“Hopefully he can keep chipping in.”
