A strike from Kasheme Walton earned Nottingham Forest's Under 18s a deserved 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town on Saturday. The Reds travelled to Suffolk looking to bounce back from recent defeats to Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday.
But despite a bright start they fell behind with 20 minutes on the clock.
The home side moved the ball well through midfield and Kundai Benyu latched onto a pass before rounding Aaron Myles and slotting home.
Forest didn't let this early setback bother them though and Walton restored parity just a minute later.
Hesitancy in the Ipswich backline allowed the striker to steal the ball off the toes of a defender before he placed a calm finish beyond the goalkeeper.
There were chances for both sides after the break but neither were able to find a winner as the spoils were shared.
The Under 18s round off their league campaign on Saturday (12 April) with the visit of Bristol City to The Nigel Doughty Academy (kick-off 11am).
