Nottingham Forest temporary manager Gary Brazil has revealed some brighter news on the injury front ahead of tomorrow’s visit of Millwall (kick-off 3pm).Andy Reid, Henri Lansbury, David Vaughan and Kelvin Wilson have all been putting in hard yards on the training ground and Brazil confirmed that at least two of the quartet could be in contention for the clash with The Lions.
Speaking to Forest Player, Brazil said: “Having Andy, David, Henri and Kelvin back in training this week has been fantastic. There is a chance that they might make the matchday squad but we’ll need to monitor their fitness before we put them back in.”
Ian Holloway’s men will arrive at The City Ground with the threat of relegation looming large but Brazil knows the South London side are a dangerous prospect as they battle to save their Championship status.
He said: “We know what we’re going to be up against with Millwall. Ian will change formations during the game and we’ll have to be tactically aware of what they’re doing. But we need to force out style of play and our beliefs onto them if we’re going to win the game.
“Any side managed by Ian will come and have a real go. We need to make sure we put in a good performance that gives us a strong chance to get a positive result. We’re only focused on Millwall at the moment and we’re looking forward to the challenge.”
