Nottingham Forest duo Dimitar Evtimov and Stephen McLaughlin have both been experiencing the benefits of heading out on loan.Goalkeeper Evtimov is currently spending time at Skrill Premier side Nuneaton Town and has wasted no time in helping the Midlands club reach the top of the table.
The Bulgarian has played four matches since joining the Liberty Way outfit and their 2-1 home win over Hereford United last night helped them establish a two-point advantage over nearest rivals Cambridge United at the summit.
Evtimov’s superb form between the sticks led to him missing two games for Nuneaton after he was called up to represent the Bulgarian Under 21 side in their European Championship Qualifiers last week.
And McLaughlin, who has joined up with former Forest boss Sean O’Driscoll at Bristol City, already has some game time under his belt at Ashton Gate.
After being named on the bench for The Robins’ games against Bristol Rovers and Shrewsbury, the Irishman came on for the final ten minutes of their 3-0 defeat to Peterborough United, replacing ex-Forest defender Brendan Moloney.
