Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has told Forest Player that he will have a fully-fit squad to choose from for the visit of Barnsley on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).Simon Cox, Jamie Mackie and Gonzalo Jara Reyes went to represent their respective countries in World Cup qualifiers this week and the manager is pleased that the trio returned with no injury issues.
The Reds boss said: “All the players that went away on international duty have come back without any injury problems which is great news. There have been full recoveries by the lads who were carrying little niggles so it is nice to go into this game with a clean bill of health.”
Barnsley have been dealt an injury blow ahead of the clash as Norwegian international striker Marcus Pedersen has been ruled out for a minimum of two weeks with a gashed foot.
New loan signing Peter Ramage could make his debut for The Tykes after signing on deadline day from Crystal Palace, while defender Martin Cranie could return after making a full recovery from a knee injury.
