Nottingham Forest full back Eric Lichaj has told Forest Player that The Reds must ‘tighten things up’ ahead of Saturday’s trip to Doncaster Rovers (kick-off 3pm).The American is a key member of a defensive unit which had conceded only one goal from open play ahead of Tuesday night’s eventful 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough, but after conceding twice against The Teessiders Lichaj has called for a shut-out against Paul Dickov’s side this weekend.
Lichaj said: “We’ve let a few goals in over recent matches so hopefully we can tighten it up and take a clean sheet away. We know that if we don’t concede then we’ll earn a point at the very least.
“Any away game will be difficult but we will do the best we can and hopefully get the positive result that we need.”
The right back has enjoyed an excellent start to life at The City Ground and is enjoying working with his new manager.
The American said: “The manager motivates us all really well and tactically he is very good. He lets us know about the opponents and what we need to do to get a result, and usually it works for us.
“Things are going well for me so far, all the team performances have been good and overall it has been a great start.
“I’m enjoying it very much and it is good to be integrating with all the lads.”
