Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies was left to rue a number of missed chances as The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Bournemouth this afternoon.Marc Pugh secured a point for The Cherries with a stoppage time equaliser but the Forest boss believes his side should have had the game sewn up before then.
He told Forest Player: “I’m very frustrated to lose a late goal and even more so because we had about 18 chances today. The game should have been dead and buried long before Bournemouth scored and that leaves me very disappointed.
“Simon Cox and Henri Lansbury both missed excellent chances after going through one on one before Henri scored a quite magnificent goal.
“But as a manager I’d be more worried if we weren’t creating the chances. It is pleasing to see us getting in the right positions.
“All in all, I’m frustrated at losing the lead but a point is a point.”
