Nottingham Forest captain Chris Cohen recently celebrated his 250th appearance for the club in a Reds career which has spanned over six years.Cohen’s stay on Trentside has seen plenty of ups and downs, ranging from the ecstasy of promotion to the agony of consecutive playoff semi-final defeats.
The skipper was delighted to reach such a significant milestone and told Forest Player that he hopes there are many years of success to come for both himself and the club.
He said: “It is an amazing achievement to make 250 appearances for such a big club. I’m very lucky to have been a part of every manager’s plans since I’ve been here and to play most of the games.
“I never thought I’d make 250 outings for Nottingham Forest Football Club and I’m very happy and proud to have done so.”
To mark the special occasion, the Reds skipper picked out his five favourite matches in a Forest shirt, and there were a couple of surprising choices.
