Billy Davies has extended his Nottingham Forest contract until June 2017.After commencing a second spell at The City Ground in February, the Reds boss oversaw a complete turnaround in the team’s fortunes and almost guided them into the playoffs.
He has built on that good work by making a superb start to the 2013-14 season. His side, who boast one of the best home records in the division, have won six of their opening 11 league matches and sit 4th in the Sky Bet Championship table going into this weekend’s match against Bournemouth.
Reds chairman and owner Fawaz Al Hasawi was thrilled to see his manager put pen-to-paper.
Mr Al Hasawi said: “This is a fantastic day for Nottingham Forest.
“Billy and I have the same long-term vision for the club and I am absolutely delighted that he has agreed to sign an extension to his contract.
“I look forward with great excitement to working alongside him for many years to come as we aim to bring success back to this magnificent club.”
