Leicester Preview

2 May 2013

There is sure to be a carnival-like atmosphere at The City Ground when Nottingham Forest meet Leicester City on Saturday (kick-off 12.45pm).

Both sides still harbour hopes of reaching the npower Championship playoffs, but the theme of the day is likely to be one of celebration no matter what happens on the pitch for The Reds.
The Foxes haven’t won a league match at The City Ground since 1972 and that will have to change if Nigel Pearson’s men are to make the top six.

Forest will be without the injured Gonzalo Jara Reyes and Sam Hutchinson, while Chris Cohen remains touch-and-go with a thigh injury.
They are however bolstered by the return of Darius Henderson, who has completed a three-match ban.
Wes Morgan will make his first return to The City Ground since switching allegiances to a Leicester side who have no fresh concerns going into the match.
