Terriers Loss For 18s

18 March 2013

Nottingham Forest’s Under 18s suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Huddersfield Town at The Nigel Doughty Academy on Saturday.

Three second half goals put the visitors out of sight but professional development coach Steve Chettle told that there were positives to take from the encounter.

He said: “I’m obviously disappointed with the result but Andreas Karo played his first game for the 18s, alongside fellow Under 16 centre back David Arrowsmith, and Michael Hollingsworth had his first game back since picking up an injury in the Youth Cup.

“Huddersfield fielded their strongest possible team and the first half was very equal – we did okay.

“They got stronger in the second half and after their first goal it was tough going, but I was proud of the boys and the effort they put in.”

Team: Myles, Sebastiao, Polimos, Hollingsworth (Petravicius 62'), Karo, Arrowsmith, Gnahore, Grant, Otim, Palmer-Samuels (Elliott 69'), Kamaneno
Subs: Mulraney, Durrant
