Billy Davies has revealed that both Billy Sharp and Darius Henderson are well on the road to recovery ahead of Saturday’s trip to Hull - but Dexter Blackstock could miss out with a hamstring problem. The Antigua and Barbuda international limped off in last weekend’s win over Wolves and has been described as ‘touch and go’ ahead of tomorrow’s match.
Irish winger Stephen McLaughlin will definitely miss out after being ruled out for 4-6 weeks with an ankle injury and goalkeeper Khaled Al Rashidi is still struggling with a back issue.
But Davies did have good news to report in other areas.
He told Forest Player: “It’s nice to have Marcus Tudgay back in non-contact training. We’re probably looking at a couple of weeks before we can get him back into full-contact but the important thing is that the lad’s back on the grass.
“Sharp is over his chest infection and Henderson has been making good progress over the last couple of days.
“We’re looking forward to a very busy run in - we’ll do the best we can.”
