Nottingham Forest’s in-form midfielder Radoslaw Majewski has been selected for Poland’s next round of World Cup qualifiers.The playmaker, who was watched by head coach Waldemar Fornalik when he scored the opening goal in last month’s 2-0 victory at Charlton, last represented his country in a friendly against Ecuador in 2010.
He will travel to meet up with his compatriots later this month for matches against Ukraine and San Marino.
Algeria regular Adlene Guedioura has made the squad for his country’s clash with Benin, while on-loan full back Gonzalo Jara Reyes has been named in Chile’s squad ahead of their qualifiers against Peru and Uruguay.
Simon Cox has also been named in the Republic of Ireland’s provisional squad for their matches against Sweden and Austria.
Forest youngsters Jake Mulraney and Gerry McDonagh (Republic of Ireland), Ilias Polimos (Greece), Deimantas Petravicius (Lithuania) and Oliver Burke (Scotland) have also recently earned call ups for their junior national sides.
