Nottingham Forest’s Under 18s twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw at home to Crewe on Saturday. The Reds started the game slowly and found themselves 1-0 down at the break, but after some tactical changes they found an equaliser after Jordan Palmer-Samuels linked up with trialist Jorge Grant.
The visitors regained their lead on 73 minutes but Palmer-Samuels was on hand once again four minutes later to earn Forest a point.
Chettle said: “We showed good character to recover from a difficult first half.
“Crewe will have been disappointed to have twice thrown away their lead but on the balance of play I think it was a fair result.”
