Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has moved to praise Dimitar Evtimov and Simon Cox after the duo scooped awards at Sunday’s 2013 Football League Awards.Evtimov was named the LFE Apprentice of the Year, while Cox’s stunning goal against Birmingham earlier this season was given the Goal of the Year award.
Davies said: “I would like to say a big ‘well done’ to both players on behalf of everyone at the club – we are very proud.
“Dimi’s award was just reward for all the fantastic work he has put in, and Coxy’s touch-and-finish for his goal was outstanding.
“Hopefully we will see many more of our players pick up similar awards in the future.”
