Nottingham Forest’s latest signing Jack Hobbs has admitted that he is delighted to be joining ‘the biggest club in the Championship’.The 24 year old, who joined on loan from Hull City this week, helped The Tigers reach the Premier League last season and is hoping the repeat the trick with The Reds in the forthcoming campaign.
Speaking before the match at Chesterfield, he told Forest Player: “It’s really exciting for me at a new stage in my career.
“The manager has vast amounts of experience and has won promotion from this league before. He demands a lot from his players but in the right way so I’m really looking forward to working with him.
Hobbs was realistic about the challenges he faces at his new club, but was also keen to stress that The Reds possess the potential to achieve something special.
He said: “I’m joining at an exciting time for Nottingham Forest - hopefully we can win promotion and play in the Premier League.
“Forest are probably the biggest club in the Championship given the size and history of the club so it was an easy choice for me and I’m extremely excited.”
